The President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Pastor of St.
Andrew's constitute the Executive Committee. Guided by St. Andrew's
Vision and Mission statements, this committee reviews the direction and
progress of the church, sets the Church Council agenda, and makes
recommendations to the Council.

Education Committee is responsible for planning and overseeing the education
programs for St. Andrew’s including Adult Education, Sunday School,
Confirmation, Vacation Bible School, and the Advent Workshop.

Following an Adult Education discussion of God’s creation and our charge
to be stewards of the planet, the ETF formed in 2007 to explore ways in which St. Andrew’s can contribute.

Extended Ministry Fund Committee |

committee was established in January 2005 to administer the disbursement
of memorial gifts to St. Andrew’s that are not intended for budgeted
expenses or for the rental properties.

Family and Youth Ministry Committee |

committee embodies our vision of outreach and compassion through numerous
activities such as Faith Family Fun Nights, the annual Variety Show,
Faith Chest Ministry, family resources, small group resources, 807 (High
School group), Power Pack (4th-6th grade group),
Junior High special events, summer fun, Puppet practices and performances,
and Youth Service projects such as Pine Ridge in South Dakota.

The
Fellowship Committee creates, coordinates, and assists with fellowship
among visitors and members. Typical activities include serving a chili
supper to our Carolers in December, hosting graduation and confirmation
celebrations, as well as coordinating and serving the Rally Sunday dinner,
the Picnic in the Park, and the Thanksgiving Pie Fest.

goal for the Outreach Committee is to strive to fulfill the St. Andrew’s
vision statement. Our vision commits us to reach out with compassion
to those in need, to be inviting to others, to break down barriers and
to reach across lines of status and culture, increasing our visibility
in the community.

committee is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the
facilities and property of the congregation. Plans for remodeling, repairing,
painting, and cleaning are always on the agenda.

team has the responsibility for oversight of all rental property matters
and represents a broad range of fiscal, remodel/repair, and client relation
skills.

Social Concerns Committee |

The
Social Concerns Committee studies and reports to the congregation information
and recommends needed action on social problems at the local, state,
national, and international levels. In addition to supporting local
programs such as Good Neighbor, the Emergency Residence Project, and
ACCESS, this past year’s Lenten Offering was given to our Tanzanian
Ministry team to support our companion parish in Hedaru. Our Angel Tree
Ministry annually gives numerous gifts, toys and supplies to children
living at Beloit.

This committee has the responsibility
of monitoring, coordinating, and communicating the financial status
and needs of the congregation as well as local and national benevolence
agencies. Its primary mission is to develop and call out from all members
their talents to carry out the vision of compassion and outreach in
all ministries of St. Andrew’s.

The
purpose of the TMT is to coordinate our efforts to build a companionship
with Hedaru Lutheran Parish in Tanzania. Multiple visits since January 2006 by several St. Andrew’s members has
built a trusting relationship with our companion parish and has resulted
in a firm commitment to continue providing our concrete support in a
multitude of ways.

Worship and Arts Committee |

Primary
responsibilities for the Worship and Arts Committee include scheduling
persons to assist with the many aspects of the worship service such
as hanging appropriate banners for church seasons, decorating with floral
arrangements, purchasing communion supplies, and providing instruction
for communion preparers and servers, ushers, and other worship helpers.
