Are you what John Shelby Spong calls "a believer in exile"-- someone who
has left the church because it has not taken your questions or life's
situation seriously? Are you someone who has remained in the church,
but oftentimes feels like you are not welcome to voice your questions
and doubts openly? Or are you someone who is simply frustrated that
those purveying "answers" with certitude seem to dominate today's
religious landscape? You are not alone.
"Living the Questions"
is an open-minded exploration of what faith can look like in the 21st
century. Under the theme of faith as journey, not a destination, each
session presents some of today's leading theological thinkers, who
"stir the pot" for further conversation. Rather than serving up clear
and concise answers, "Living the Questions" hopes to be a resource for
people who want to be in conversation about the mysteries of faith and
life.
All are welcome. Join us on the journey, Sundays at 9:00 a.m.
